Vijay says he has never evaded tax

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, whose house was recently raided by Income tax officials, says that he has never evaded taxes and has been a law abiding citizen. It has to be recalled that a day prior to the release of his film Puli, income tax officials raided his house along with the producers of his film and also Samantha and Nayanthara.

In his statement, Vijay says, “I have submitted the details of my income and assets particulars to the authorities until the current financial year. I have also paid my wealth tax, professional tax etc.”

He also says that all that which has been said about him as someone who has not paid taxes are all false. He also stated that he would co-operate with the Income Tax Department to clear the air as the allegations are baseless and untrue. Click the Movie button below for more info:
