Vijay-Ajith to come together for Diwali

Well, the two superstars Kollywood in true sense might not be sharing the screen space but the audience will have a chance to watch them on the same screen this Diwali.

The makers of Arrambam and Jilla have decided to release the trailer of Jilla with Ajith’s Diwali release Arrambam. So the audience can have the joy of watching both their favourite stars at the same time.

Vijay, for the first time in the last few years, does not have a Diwali release. Last year he had the block buster Thuppakki with Kajal as Diwali release. This time he does not want to disappoint his fans, who are eagerly waiting for his Jilla. Hence, the makers have decided to release the trailer of the film for Diwali. It looks like Kollywood has imported another tradition from Bollywood where it is common to have one film’s trailer being shown along with another big film in theatres.

Ajith’s Arrabam is releasing this week and expectations are very high. Jilla is expected to release in January for the Pongal festival. Arrambam has Arya and Nayanthara in pivotal roles where in Ajith plays a different character with many shades. Jilla has Vijay once again romancing his Thuppakki lady Kajal along with Mohanlal in a crucial role.
