Vijay 61 FL and title release date advanced

The first look and title of Vijay 61 directed by Atlee was supposed to be revealed on the 22nd June for Vijay’s birthday. But producers Thenandal Studios sprang a surprise on the fans by advancing the release date by a day.

The note shared on their official Twitter handle reads, “A Grand Birthday Treat for all ILAYATHALAPATHY FANS. Murali Ramasamy & Hema Rukmani of Thenandal Studios Ltd take pride to release the much awaited FIRST LOOK of Vijay 61 and also its OFFICIAL TITLE on 21st June on the eve of Vijay's birthday at 6 pm. Vijay 61 is the 100th film under the Thenandal banner, a mega budget film made in both Tamil and Telugu.

This blockbuster is an ensemble of top stars and technicians. The film is written & directed by Atlee with the music of A R Rahman. Vijay and Atlee's earlier combination created magic through Theri. The expectations this time from this dream pair is far higher. The film has been extensively shot in Chennai where huge sets were erected to shoot most of the crucial scenes. Moreover, some of the important sequences of the film have been filmed in Europe. The film's audio will be launched in a grand way in August and the film is slated for worldwide release in October".
