Actor Vicky Kaushal has revealed that the team of film ‘Takht’ is preparing in full force to begin the film in February next year.
Directed by Karan Johar, the film is based on the Mughal era and chronicles the story of two warring brothers. Apart from Vicky, it also features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor among others.
The shooting for ‘Takht’ will commence in February, and before that, Vicky will finish the shoot for ‘Udham Singh’.
‘Takht’ traces the relationship between Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his brother Dara Shukoh, with Ranveer playing the latter while Vicky will play Aurangzeb.
