Talking about it Vetri Maaran says, “We have been trying to screen the film in festivals and got a birth in Venice Film Festival. What is unique about it is Visaranai is the first ever Tamil film in the 72 year old history of Venice Film Festival. I am very happy and proud of the fact”.
Visaranai’s trailer which was out a few months back appeared to be raw, riveting and hard hitting. The film about an interrogation in a jail by police officials was appreciated by film buffs.
