Venkat Prabhu's experiment gets funding

Even as people are talking about Karthi’s film Biriyani directed by Venkat Prabhu, the director seems to have moved over to the next project. Interestingly, the new project has already found the funding. Though the film Biriyani is still under production, Venkat Prabhu has started working on a new project and it is being produced by Black Tickets Productions banner.

The new film will be an experimental one in the director’s own style and will have seven new comers playing the lead roles. It is said that Venkat Prabhu has already started the auditions for selecting the new faces and the process should be over by Deepavali time. Though the ground work will be ready, the film’s shoot will start only after the release of Biriyani.

Biriyani has Karthi playing the lead role with Hansika as the heroine. Premgi is playing an important role in the movie. The film is scheduled for a Pongal release. Click the Movie button below for more info:
