'Veeram' getting ready

Jayaraj’s ‘Veeram’ is getting ready with a production cost of Rs 35 crores. The movie brings on silver screen the classic work of Shakespeare - ‘Macbeth’ and gives prominence to martial arts.

‘Veeram’ narrates the story of Chekavar Chanthu and takes inspiration from "Vadakkan Pattukal" (Northern Ballads).

Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor is the hero in ‘Veeram’. The movie will be released in November in Malayalam, English, and Hindi.

The script is penned by Jayaraj and the dialogues are written by M R Varier. ‘Veeram’ is produced by Chandramohan D Pillai and Pradeep Rajan.
