Vedi Vazhipadu gets A

Shambhu Purushothaman’s debut directorial film, Vedi Vazhipadu has been given an A certificate by the Revising Committee of the Censor Board. The film was earlier denied a censor certification by the board.

The news is that the film allegedly has some adult comedy and the censor board officials are worried that it might affect the religious sentiments of people.

The poster of the film itself had created a huge buzz and the film had slogans like “Moralists, please forgive, Vedi Vazhipadu begins” and so on.

The film stars Indrajith, Murali Gopy, Anumol, Sunil Sugatha, Mythili and Anushree. Director Arun Kumar Aravind and scenarist Murali Gopi are the producers of the film.
