Vasantha Balan to direct GV Prakash

Director Vasantha Balan is known for his films Album, Veyil, Aravaan, Kaaviya Thalaivan and Angadi Theru. In fact, he was the one who introduced GV Prakash as a music composer in his film Veyil which brought in a lot of laurels to the film industry.

Now after many years, Vasantha Balan and GV Prakash will be teaming up for a film, but this time, Prakash will be directed by Vasantha Balan. This film will be bankrolled by PT Selvakumar who had produced films like Onbadhula Guru, Puli, Bandha Paramsivam to name a few.

GV Prakash is said to have been very excited to be directed by Vasantha Balan. He was quoted as saying, “He introduced me as a music composer in Veyil. Now, I am going to act in his film. It feels nice”. The film is expected to begin towards the end of the year as Prakash has his other film commitments to complete.
