Varalaxmi's sister Pooja Sarathkumar to make her film debut

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had recently signed a film titled as Shakthi that would be directed by Mysskin’s associate Priyadarshini. The latest news is, Varalaxmi’s younger sister Pooja Sarathkumar will be making her film debut through this film. The film is a trilingual with a tagline- Some fear fire. Some simply become it."

Elaborating on this, elder sister Varalaxmi says, "Pooja has a flair for picking clothes and she even dresses me up for events. So, we felt that she should start doing it as a profession. Since this is a film with a lot of women in team, we felt that she would be more comfortable making her debut with this. Also, I would be there to guide Pooja.”

Shakthi is being bankrolled by Papertale Pictures and the film's first look has won appreciation from people. Though she is not in uniform, the poster suggests that Varalaxmi might be playing a cop in this upcoming film. Click the Movie button below for more info:
