Two more films to compete with Bairavaa this Pongal

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Bairavaa had long ago booked its birth for Pongal 2017. The team has been working to release the film for the harvest festival. For quite some time, there was no competition for this film but later Vishal announced that he would clash with Vijay with his Kathi Sandai.

But after Suriya announced his withdrawal of his Singam 3 for the Christmas weekend, Vishal immediately chose that slot and announced that his Kathi Sandai would release on 23rd December.

Now, last evening GV Prakash starrer Bruce Lee director Prasanth Pandiaraj tweeted that his film is going to be a Pongal 2017 release with a “Thank God #BruceLee on Pongal... Enga Anan #Bairavaa kooda Varom... #BruceLee on Pongal...”. Today, producer CV Kumar also tweeted that his film Adhae Kangal with Kalaiyarasan, Janani Iyer and Sshivada Nair has also booked its slot for Pongal 2017.
