Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Thalaivaa will finally release in Tamilnadu on August 20. The film was slated for a release on August 9, but it could not be released citing security reasons. Thalaivaa team after meeting the police officials on Saturday evening announced that the film will be released on August 20 in Tamilnadu. On Sunday, theatres in Chennai started accepting the booking for the same.
Thalaivaa directed by AL Vijay stars Vijay, Amala Paul and Sathyaraj in the lead. GV Prakash has composed the music for the film and Vendhar movies is distributing it. Mishri Productions has produced the movie. Thalaivaa was released in other States and abroad on August 9 itself.
