Thala57 gets titled as Vivegam

Ajith’s Thala 57 which was hitherto called as Thala 57 gets an official title as Vivegam meaning wisdom. The film was variously speculated as Vyoogam, Vadham etc following the V sentiment that is being followed by director Siva and Ajith in their previous films such as Veeram and Vedhalam.

The film is nearly over and the fans were getting restless as the unit was not revealing the title name. Finally, last morning director Siva announced through his Twitter handle, “With the blessings of Sai,love of Thala fans &cinema lovers first look of #thala 57 Thursday Feb 2 12 01am..Sai Sai”. True to his word, this morning (2nd February), adhering to the Thursday sentiment of the director, at the stroke of 12.01 am, the announcement came as Vivegam along with the first look.

The first look revealed an angry looking Ajith with a bare torso which appears much chiseled with an army green printed pant. Ajith is said to be playing an Interpol officer in the film which has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan as his female compatriots while Vivek Oberoi plays the baddie.
