Backbench Student's Chetan Bhagat connection

Mahat starrer Backbench student is directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. He is a former student of IIT Chennai. Sreedhar’s films are youth oriented and showcases some influence of Chetan Bhagat. Chetan is also an alumnus of IIT.

Recently the director has revealed that the story of Backbench Student is based on Chetan’s Revolution2020. It has to be recalled that Chetan attended the premiere of the director’s previous movie, It’s my love story.

Backbench student is being produced by MVK Reddy. The film has Piaa Bajpai and Archava Kavi as the heroines. The music of the film is composed by Sunil Kashyap. It is expected that the film will release on March 14.
