Vijay, Mohanlal film's pooja held

Jilla starring Vijay and Mohanlal was launched on March 11 at RB Chowdary's office. The film is being produced by RB Chowdary’s Super Good Films. RB Chowdary said that Super Good Films is celebrating its silver Jubilee this year and he is very happy to collaborate with Vijay as he is a lucky charm for his banner.

Chowdary also expressed his happiness in having Mohanlal on board.

Vijay said that the film has a good story and he is looking forward to working with Mohanlal for the first time and with RB Chowdary again.

The film’s director Nesan said that Jilla will be a story set in Madurai. Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal will have equal scope in the movie. He added that Imman's music will be a major highlight of the film and the team is planning for a Pongal release.

Actor Jiiva who was present on the occasion said that Vijay and Super Good Films always share a great rapport. He hoped that the film will be a great success.

Jilla has Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal, Soori and Mahat in the lead. The film also has Brahmanandham and Thambi Ramiah. Natraj is handling the cinematography. Editor duo, Praveen KL and Srikanth take care of editing. Rajeevan is the art director. Thamarai, Yugabharathi and Madhan Karky are penning the lyrics for the film. Anal Arasu is the stunt choreographer. The film will be directed by Nesan and dialogues are by N Baskar.
