Sripriya to direct Malini 22 Palayamkottai

Yesteryear actress Sripriya is going to wield the megaphone for the remake of hit Malayalam film, 22 Female Kottayam. The film is titled Malini 22 Palayamkottai in Tamil.

The Malayalam film was directed by Aashiq Abu and was big hit in Kerala due to its strong female centric theme. The revenge drama had actress Rima Kallingal in the lead. Actress Nithya Menen will reprise her role in Tamil. Krish Satar will enact Fahad Fazil’s role and Naresh will be the villain.

While Sripriya will handle the screenplay, dialogues and direction, Manoj Pillai will handle the camera. Arvind-Shankar compose music for the film. Rajkumar Sethupathi produces the bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
