Saraswathi Sabatham is a fantasy comedy

R Chandru, a former associate of director CS Amudan is directing Saraswathi Sabatham, a fantasy comedy. The film has Jai, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan, Rajkumar, Manobala and Niveda Thomas in the lead.

In 1966, a film titled Saraswathi Sabatham was released and it was a mythological film. However, Chandru has stated that Saraswathi Sabatham is not a remake film. The new film revolves around four men, played by Jai, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan and Rajkumar and will be a fun film. Niveda Thomas will be seen opposite Jai. The film has been shot in Malaysia, Bangkok and Chennai.

Saraswathi Sabatham is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram under AGS banner. Prem, an associate of Harris Jayaraj debuts as music director and J Anand, an associate of Nirav Shah debuts as cinematographer with the film. TS Suresh is the editor.
