Rs 4 crore for a fight scene

Jayam Ravi starrer Bhoologam has been progressing at a rapid pace. A mass fight scene was shot for the film in the temple town of Thiruvannamalai.

It took 10 days to shoot the action scene between hero Jayam Ravi and villain Arpeet Ranga. The fight scene cost Rs 4 Crore and involved about 6000 people. While 4000 students from various colleges in Thiruvannamalai were roped in, 1000 junior artists from Chennai, 150 trained athletes from Chennai and over 500 sportsperson from various colleges in the district were also part of the scene.

The film produced by Aascar Ravichandran has Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead and is directed by Kalayana Krishna. The film is based on a boxer.
