Rajinikanth has finally come out in the open asking for support for his friend Kamal Haasan over the Vishwaroopam issue. In a press statement, Rajini has urged the warring Muslim organizations to discuss the issue with Kamal after his return from the US and sort out the differences instead of asking for a total ban.
The Superstar said that Kamal must be going through a very tough moment as he had spent nearly 100 crores to produce the film.
Rajini also mentioned that Kamal is a ‘Maha Kalaignan’ who took the Tamil cinema to international level and it is sad that he has to undergo the strain of facing a ban in his own state.
Earlier Tamil Nadu government has banned the film Vishwaroopam for 15 days citing law and order issue. Kamal has appealed to the High Court to lift the ban and the court will decide on the issue on Jan 28 after the judges see the film.
