'Nadigayin Diary' not a dirty picture, says director
Mar 31, 2013 IANS"People have already started to compare the film with several imaginary stories, including the Hindi film 'The Dirty Picture', but it's not like that. It's a true, emotional story of the rise and fall of an actress. The story is closer to personal life of Silk Smitha, and it is not dirty," Anil told IANS.
Anthony Eastman, who introduced Silk to the Malayalam film industry, has written the script for the film.
"Based on real experiences that he shared with the actress, he has penned the story with lot of detailing and, therefore, it is different from other versions," Anil added.
Bollywood actress Sana Khan has essayed the role of Silk Smitha in the film, which also features Baburaj, Suresh Krishna, Nishan and Rajasri Nair.
"There are different sides to each story. Audiences will get to see the side they didn't know about the actress. We have made the film as real and emotional as possible without making it dirty," he said.
Produced by P.J. Thomas, "Climax" is currently in post-production phase, while the dubbing for Tamil version is underway. Click the Movie button below for more info:
