Mirugam director's next

After films like Uyir, Mirugam and Sindhu Samaveli, director Samy is gearing up for his next film and it is titled Kangaroo. V House Production is producing the film and Samy is doing the film on a first-copy basis.

Samy has said that the film has been titled Kangaroo, as every human being carries emotions like joy, sorrow and disappointment like a Kangaroo carrying its kid.

The director’s earlier film, Sindhu Samaveli was a controversial one for its theme and he says that Kangaroo will be a very different film from his earlier ones and will be a dedication to all caring mothers.

Newcomer Arjuna plays the lead in Kangaroo. Pranaya and Supriya play the female leads. Seeman, Thambi Ramiah, Kalabhavan Mani are also in the cast.

Story is by Samy’s assistant Sai Prasadh. Lyricist Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. Playback singer Srinivas scores the music for the film.
