Manivannan's speech garners attention

The audio and trailer launch of Manivannan's Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA was held recently. Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA is a sequel to Manivannan's 1994 hit film, Amaithipadai. Directors Ameer, Kalaipuli S Thanu, SA Chandrasekar, Seeman, actors Sivakumar, Sibiraj, Sathyaraj and many attended the function. Manivannan garnered attention with his speech. The director said, "Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA is a political film but it is not based on any particular person, I'm not afraid of any one. If politicians want to attack me, let them. But if one stone falls on my house, no politician can speak on a stage. Our tiger team and Seeman will take care of them".

The director also said that he and Sathyaraj share a great chemistry like a husband and wife and he knows exactly how Sathyaraj will act and vice versa. Manivannan said that it was Ilaiayaraaja who gave him a chance to direct Gopurangal Saivathilai. But he added that he could not have the maestro to compose music for Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA due to its minimum budget.

Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA has Sathyaraj, Seeman, Manivannan, Mrithula, Komal Sharma in the lead. James Vasanthan has composed the music.
