Autorickshaws to publicise Vathikuchi

Vathikuchi produced by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios will release on March 15. The film stars Dhileepan and Anjali in the lead and is a crime-thriller. The team has planned for a unique promotional strategy using autorickshaws and flash mobs to promote the film and grab the eye balls.

Four to five autorickshaws have been plying to Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy carrying the banners of the film. The branded autorickshaws have already started going around in Chennai city. A young band is also travelling to the cities and will dance to Vathikutchi songs thus creating a flash mob effect.

The film’s hero, AR Murugadoss’ brother is essaying the role of an auto driver and hence the team has come up with this unique promotional campaign.

About 100 branded autos will ply in Chennai till the release of the film and the lead actors are expected to take part in the promotions on March 15, on the date of release. Debutant Kinslin has directed the film and RB Gurudev has handled the camera.

The film has Saranya Ponvannan, Sampath Raj, Jayaprakash, Raja and Rajshree in significant roles.
