Suriya does not want his fans to celebrate his film's release

Suriya’s next film Pasanga 2 produced under his banner 2 D Entertainment features the hero in an extended cameo along with Amala Paul. The film is releasing on the 24th December.

It is a general practice in the tinsel town to have celebrations and revelry before the release of a film of a popular actor. But Suriya being Suriya, has told his fans strictly to stay away from such things.

He states, “I am not for it! I have insisted this to you in person on several earlier occasions. Instead, you help those who are affected by the recent deluge in whatever way you can”. It has to be recalled that Suriya along with his brother Karthi and dad Sivakumar has donated 25 lakhs to the flood relief and they have also adopted three villages Nelvar, Kachur and Keragambakkam in Thiruvallur district, some of the worst affected in the recent floods.
