Sundarapandian to have its sequel

This is the season of sequels and we have Maari 2, Saamy Square, Sandakozi 2, Naadodigal 2 and Dhillukku Dhuttu in various stages of production. The latest to join in this bandwagon is Sundarapandian 2.

The film was the debut directorial of SR Prabhakaran which earned him name and fame. Later he went on to do Idhu Kadhirvelan Kaadhal and Sathriyan. Prabhakaran had worked as an associate in Subramaniapuram and Eesan before he embarked upon his independent journey. The 2012 film was a hit that featured Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles where Vijay Sethupathi played a baddie.

The successful duo of Sasikumar and Prabhakaran had been constantly asked about the sequel of Sundarapandian and hence the director has readied his script for the sequel.
