Women directors will thrive after Drishyam Success

Actress Nadiya is playing an important role in Drishyam, The Telugu remake of Malayalam Superhit of the same name. Nadiya is confident of the success of the film directed by Sripriya. She feels that the movie success will encourage a lot of women directors to join the directorial bandwagon.

"Drishyam is not a film to encourage women directors to come forward to make films, but the film success will highlight the fact that it has been directed by a woman. I think that will make a lot of difference and encourage women to direct films as well," Nadiya opined.

Nadiya plays the role of an Inspector General of Police in the film and she feels working in a remake in such a challenging role itself is a big challenge.Drishyam also features Meena in an important role. It is jointly produced by Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathy.
