Sridevi's daughter Janhvi makes debut in 'Dhadak'

Actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor makes her debut in the film “Dhadak,” directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studio, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The film is an official remake of the Marathi film “Sairat.” Ishaan Khatter plays the male lead.

Janhvi is the daughter of Sridevi and producer Bony Kapoor. Ishaan Khatter is the half-brother of Shahid Kapoor. Set in the rural milieu, they play young lovers, who face obstacles of caste politics.

Ishaan has earlier acted in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's “Beyond the Clouds.” “Dhadak” is scheduled to release on July 6, 2018. Click the Movie button below for more info:
