'Soorarai Pottru' Hindi remake gets a release date

The release date of the Hindi remake of Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru' has been announced. Starring Akshay Kumar, the film is slated to release on September 1.

Sudha Kongara, who directed the Tamil version, is also helming the film. Suriya was the lead in the Tamil version, which won awards and accolades alike.

The Hindi remake also features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal among others. The flick is being produced by Arun Bhatia, Jyotika, Suriya and Vikram Malhotra. The film is inspired by the eventful life of Captain Gopinath's struggles to float his own airline company. Click the Movie button below for more info:
