SJ Surya's own production in final stages

Director SJ Surya has grown over the years. Starting his career as a director, he went on to become a producer, actor and also donned many other hats. The latest is that he will be scoring music for his next film which is tilted as Isai. The film has Sathyaraj and Surya himself playing the main roles.

The ambitious venture Isai has almost completed the production work except for 10 more days of shoot which they plan to do in Kerala and Chennai. Interestingly, the film is a musical and tells the story of the rivalry between two professional musicians. The director is composing the music himself and he is doing it for the first time.

It is said that the story has resemblances to the lives of Illaiyaraja and AR Rahman. But the director has denied it. Savithri is a new face who is being introduced as the heroine in the film.
