Singam 3 becomes S3

Singam is a successful franchise directed by Hari starring Suriya and Anushka. Suriya plays an honest cop in the film that had all the elements of commercial cinema in perfect proportion. The success of the film made the makers go for a sequel Singam 2 which again became a huge hit with additional cast members like Hansika and Anjali.

Further on, the team has begun work on the third series in this franchise, which was till now called Singam 3 but the title has been revealed as S 3. Two first looks of the film’s poster were out last night, and one of them had Suriya roaring with rage and the second one had the juxtaposition of Suriya with an actual lion with powerful whiskers. The tag line also claimed the film to be about a universal cop which could suggest that cop Suriya’s hunt for anti social elements would spread to overseas locations too.

The film started rolling from today, the 7th of January which was accompanied by Suriya’s tweet, “Thank you all for the wishes #S3 starts today..!!”. Director Hari has a reputation of completing the film in the shortest possible time and we can expect the same with S 3 too. Click the Movie button below for more info:
