Simbu's boyish look in 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' goes viral

Actor Silambarasan's (Simbu) has shed around 15 kg for director Gautham Menon's new film "Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu" to get the boyish look required for the character. As soon as his new look was posted on social media, it went viral. The first schedule of the film was wrapped up in Tiruchendur on Friday.

Sharing Simbu's new look, Ashwin Kumar, the executive producer of the film, tweeted: "It's a 1st schedule Wrap for @VelsFilmIntl’s @SilambarasanTR_ Starring #VendhuThanindhadhuKaadu in Tiruchendur🙏🏻

Simbu and Gautham Menon are teaming up again after " Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya" and "Achcham Enbadhu Madamiyada."

Ishari Ganesh is producing the film through her Vels Film International. The music for the film is composed by A.R. Rahman. Earlier, the film was titled "Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan."
