This appears to be the mother of all casting coups. Yes, Simbu is reported to be doing ace director Mani Ratnam’s next film. This project already boasts a pantheon of talented artists in the form of Jyothika, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh.
Now the addition of Simbu in the cast list certainly ups the expectation level of this project. It is a known fact that Simbu is a highly talented artist and when he will be directed by a maker like Mani Ratnam, the film is bound to be at a different level.
Simbu’s last film Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan was met with a very bad response and the actor also announced his next project which would be in English. At this juncture, it comes as a pleasant surprise to see this actor-director combo. An official confirmation is awaited soon.
