Siddharth Roy Kapur is back with a bang, announces three films, one with Aamir Khan

Ever since, Siddharth Roy Kapur bid adieu to UTV Motion Pictures, there had been speculations of him launching his own production house. The former CEO of UTV motion pictures has finally launched his new production house called Roy Kapur Films and has announced three films under this banner.

And among the three films one is with none other than the ‘Dangal’ star Aamir Khan. The movie is a biopic based on astronaut Rakesh Sharma and will be directed by Mahesh Mathai. According to reports the movie will start rolling in the beginning of 2018.

The second film, which is announced, will again be based on a true-life story of a man named Vijendra Singh, who had lost his wife Leela in the Uttarakhand floods and his quest to find for her.

The third film will be based on a book which marks the journey of a young entrepreneur named Varun Agarwal, who co-founded Alma Mater. The movie will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
