Shruti Haasan to team with a British band

Shruti Haasan is not just an actress but is also a trained singer. As she says in so any interviews, her first love is music. In fact, she debuted in Tamil cinema as a music composer in her dad’s film Unnai Pol Oruvan. She also had a band called Extramentals.

The latest information from her camp is that she would soon be teaming with a British band Alt Rock band Dinosaur Pile-Up wherein she would be singing along with co-writing lyrics for them.

Sources from Shruti’s camp say that she has made a couple of visits to London and has been meeting and jamming with the band members. During this time, she is reported to have enjoyed the vibe of their music and felt it was in line with her own musical inclination. “Music has been a very deeply rooted facet of her being and unlike most singers, who are just singers, she's a complete musician - someone who writes, composes and sings her own songs”, sum up the sources. On the acting front Shruti is also busy with her dad’s film Sabash Naidu, a trilingual.
