Aagadu item song goes on floors!

Shruti Haasan had started grooving for the first item song of her career in Mahesh Babu's Aagadu from today. She even sung the song. The film's director Sreenu Vaitla is in awe of her dancing and singing skills.

"Shooting a special song today with the very special and multi talented Sruthi Hassan (sic). Not only a great dancer but also a superb singer. Thank you for singing for this special song," Vaitla posted on his Twitter page on Saturday.

Expectations are riding high on the film since the actor director duo previously delivered a blockbuster like Dookudu. The movie is very special for the music director Thaman as it is his 50th movie. Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. They have previously produced Mahesh Babu's Dookudu and 1-Nenokkadine. Srinu Vaitla had employed new writers for this movie after his regular writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan parted ways from him after Baadshah.
