Shraddha Srinath to be the heroine for Udhayanidhi Stalin

Shraddha Srinath from Sandalwood is emerging to be one of the most sought after actresses in Kollywood too. Till now she has done Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai, Kannan’s Ivan Thandhiran, Pushkar-Gayathrie’s Vikram Vedha and the latest film Richie with Nivin Pauly.

To add to her impressive list, she would soon be signing a film where she would be playing the romantic interest of Udhayanidhi Stalin. The film will be directed by PS Mitran, who is currently wrapping up his debut with Vishal and Samantha. The project is said to be a thriller and has reportedly some edgy elements.

Elaborating on her film, Shraddha says, “People know that I would be taking up a project only if I have a meaty role and I'm not interested in merely playing arm candy to heroes. Even if I'm not seen in each and every frame, I like my character to be impactful. This film is one such".
