Los Angeles, June 2 (IANS) Actress Nicola Peltz, who will be seen in "Transformers: The Age of Extinction", says she "loved" shooting the explosion scene in Michael Bay's directorial venture.

Bay informed the actors about the scene just a few moments before the actual shoot started so as to keep the shock value intact, said a statement.

"Michael is like a kid; he likes cars and blowing things up," said the actress.

"There was this huge explosion I'll never forget. Ten minutes before the explosion, Michael told us what we were going to do, which was to run from one place to another in 4.6 seconds.

The shooting sequence was delightful for Peltz, 19.

"In these big action sequences, where you only have one take, your adrenaline takes over and you just go. And we could feel the heat on our backs, so we ran! It was crazy and fun. And I love it, because I'm always down to trying things," added the actress.

Distributed by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, "Transformers: The Age of Extinction" is slated to release June 27 in the US.
