Shanthanu and Parvathy Nair in Parthiban's next film

Parthiban will soon be directing a film called Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga. The multifaceted artist began the shooting for the film even before finalizing the lead cast. Now he has finalized his mentor, director-actor K.Bhagyaraj's son Shanthanu as the male lead and has brought on Parvathy Nair for the heroine’s role.

Parthiban says that although he wanted a debutant for the male lead, he later thought it would be ideal to bring in Shanthanu who is struggling to get a foothold in the industry despite having good looks and talent. This he feels as a fitting way to show his gratitude to his mentor Bhagyaraj who has been highly instrumental for his present status in the industry.

For Parvathy Nair this will be an important film in Kollywood career after Ajith's 'Yennai Arindhaal' and Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain'. Parthiban however has not revealed whether Shanthanu and Parvathy are paired up against each other. He wants the audience to watch the film and fill up the blanks.
