Shankar's I attracts the wrath of transgenders

The recently released I directed by Shankar featuring Vikram and Amy Jackson may have its plus points but has definitely attracted the wrath of the transgenders. They are very furious and humiliated and feel that the film has depicted them in a very bad fashion.
The community will also be filing a complaint against the film and its makers at the Police Commissioner’s office. They would also be staging a dharna in front of Shankar’s house.
Representing the transgenders in Chennai, popular television host Rose Venkatesan says, “Transgenders are shown as sex freaks in the movie. We want Shankar to remove those scenes from the film. It belittles our community and we plan to lodge an official complaint on Monday with the police. If required, we don't even mind taking the legal recourse”.
