Shahid Kapoor's next with Toilet - Ek Prem Katha's director Shree Narayan Singh

After Shree Narayan Singh's ‘Toilet - Ek Prem Katha’ received a warm welcome at the box office, the filmmaker is already in news again for his upcoming project.

The director has already started work on his next film, which apparently will again be a social drama like 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' and will be produced by Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment.

According to reports Shahid Kapoor has been approached for this film, which as of now is titled as ‘Roshni’. Speaking to a tabloid, Prernaa Arora said that they are still in talk with the actor and nothing has been finalised yet. However, she has confirmed that this will also be a big budget film like ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’.

A source said, “Prernaa Arora from KriArj Entertainment is likely to produce the film and it's tentatively called ‘Roshni’. The production house is in talks with Shahid Kapoor. The script has been written by Rustom's writer Vipul K. Rawal.”

Director Shree Narayan Singh told a tabloid that, "Yes, I am in talks with Shahid but not sure for which film. Right now, I am heading out for a break of 10 to 15 days. There is a script called ‘Roshni’ written by Vipul but not sure that I would be directing it."

Meanwhile, Shahid is currently busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, which will release in November this year.
