Selvarahavan-Suriya's NGK shoot resumes again

Now that the strike in Kollywood has been called off, the shoot of various films which had been halted due to the stand-off in the industry, has resumed. One of the films is director Selvaraghavan’s NGK which has Suriya in the lead.

On Saturday the 21st April, the makers of NGK, resumed shooting in Chennai. Rakul Preet, who is playing one of the female leads in the film, joined the sets of NGK and share her excitement through a tweet that reads, “And !!! Tadaaaaaaa Day 1 #NGK @Suriya_offl @selvaraghavan #letsdothis (sic).” Sai Pallavi, is playing another female lead in the film.

As per reports, a grand village set has been erected in Chennai to shoot major portions of the film. NGK went on the floors in January. Producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Picture, who is bankrolling the project, announced that it will hit the screens worldwide on Diwali this year. However, it’s unclear if the filmmakers will be able to complete the project on time for the release as announced earlier.
