Selva and Simbu project put on hold

Maverick director Selvaraghavan and actor Simbu came together for a project which was titled Kaan, some time back. This project had the interesting names such as Aravind Krishna behind the camera and Yuvan Shankar Raja for music.

The first look of the film also was much spoken about where Simbu was shown sporting Vibhuti on his forehead and appeared fiercely pious. This film is apparently out on hold for some time.

Selvaraghavan confirmed this in his facebook page when he said, “I have been hearing a lot of rumors about Kaan. I just want to clarify certain things. Kaan as a script is very close to my heart and is also an ambitious project the team and I want to do justice to our vision. The team and I have taken a mutual call to temporarily put the project on hold. It's great to know that we all share the same vision. We will resume the project next year once we have restructured the finances. In the meantime, I will miss working with Simbu and the crew”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
