Sathriyan will be a realistic gangster film
Feb 4, 2017 JB
Sundarapandian was directed by SR Prabhakaran and the film was a roaring success. Now the director is ready with his next titled as Sathriyan which was originally named as Mudisooda Mannan. The film features Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music which was launched yesterday, the 3rd February in Chennai.
Vikram Prabhu takes an action avatar in this film and the director claims that it will not be like the usual cinematic gangster movies that one comes across in Tamil cinema. “This is a realistic narration of a gangster’s lifestyle. You will never see the hero Vikram Prabhu on screen, but only his character Guna. Vikram has done action and stunts which are believable”, he adds.
On choosing Manjima Mohan, he says, “I watched her Malayalam film, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, and I felt she suited the role of Niranjana, a girl from Tiruchy. I didn’t know that she was already part of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada when I met her for narration.” Click the Movie button below for more info:
