Sandeep Singh biopic titled 'Soorma'

Diljit Dosanjh starrer new film, which is based on the life of hockey player Sandeep Singh has been titled “Soorma.” A new poster of the film was revealed on Tuesday.

Sandeep Singh is an ace hockey player, and former captain of the Indian National Team. In 2006, Singh was seriously injured after being hit by an accidental gunshot in a train.

He was almost paralysed and was on the wheel chair for two years. Later, he recovered from that serious injury and established himself again in the team.

Directed by Shaad Ali, the biopic will also feature Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
