The filming for 'Sam Bahadur’, featuring actor Vicky Kaushal in the titular character, has begun. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.
The film, written by Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava, is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The flick is based on the life of Field Marshal S.H.F.J. Manekshaw, whose career spanned four decades and five wars, beginning with service in the British Indian Army in World War II with a string of legendary exploits.
