Sai Pallavi, not the heroine in Mani Ratnam's film

Ace director Mani Ratnam’s last film was OK Kanmani and after which there were numerous speculations as to what his next film going to be. It was announced that Karthi would be the hero while Sai Pallavi of Premam fame will be the heroine.

But as per the latest talk, Sai Pallavi will not be a part of the project. It is said that Mani Ratnam felt she was too young to essay the role that he had envisioned and said to be looking out for a slightly matured face. It was also said that there were intimate scenes in the film, which the Premam girl was not much interested in doing.

As of now, the development on this subject is that Sri Thenandal Films have come forward to distribute the project. More updates on the subject to follow soon.
