S J Suryah talks about Ajith, Vijay and Isai

Director/actor S J Suryah turned music director with Isai which features him as the hero and a newcomer Savithri as the heroine. The audio of the film was recently released and music lovers have been appreciating Suryah’s maiden efforts in music composition.

The story is rumored to be about Ilayaraja and Rahman’s clash. Clearing the air, Suryah says, “Isai sprang from my imagination. Generally when an assistant decides to work independently, his mentor would bless and wish him. In case the mentor turns out to be jealous, what will happen? My story is about the consequences of such an emotion.”

Thanking Ajith and Vijay, Suryah says, “Ajith was the one who gave the recognition for me as a director by agreeing to do Vaali. Secondly my thanks are due to Vijay and because of his portrayal only, Kushi recorded the huge success. I am thankful to both these heroes for my career success”.
