Ryan Gosling to play the lead in Guillermo Del Toro's 'The Haunted Mansion'

Actor Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in supernatural family movie “The Haunted Mansion”.

Guillermo del Toro is directing and producing the project for Disney Studios.

“The Haunted Mansion” has been in production for the past five years and is based on the popular attraction at the Disneyland theme park. Toro unveiled the project at Comic Con in July 2010 - seven years after the release of the Eddie Murphy comedy of the same name.

D.V. DeVincentis is working on the script for the film, which Toro said in 2010 would not be a comedy. “If you take the children, they will scream,” he said at the time. Click the Movie button below for more info:
