Rudhramadevi to shoot near Kundala water falls

Anushka’s upcoming period film Rudhramadevi is going on a fast pace. The film will start shooting in Adilabad district soon. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film is based on Rani Rudhramadevi, a powerful ruler of Kakatiya dynasty. While Anushka is essaying the title role, Rana Daggubati is Rudhramadevi’s husband.

Recently, a new schedule of the film has started and the film unit will soon shoot certain major sequences near Kuntala waterfalls, in Adilabad district. A special set has been put up near the waterfalls for the purpose. The film’s shooting is expected to be completed by March, 2014.

Rudhramadevi will be India’s first 3D historical film and Gunasekhar, is also producing it.

Illaiyaraja is scoring the music and Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer. Thota Tharani is the art director. The film stars Anushka, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, Catherina Tresa and Baba Sehgal among others. Click the Movie button below for more info:
