RJ Balaji's speech during Ivan Thandhiran audio launch

Ivan Thanthiran is an upcoming film directed by Kannan that features Gautham Karthik, Shraddha Srinath and RJ Balaji. During the audio launch of the film, RJ Balaji quite openly spoke about the problems in the Tamil film industry.

He said, “Every new technology will appear to be a threat first to cinema. While during the early days, if it were VCD and DVD, now it is online piracy. But the truth is we cannot destroy any technology. We have to grow along with it and co-exist.

We cannot find a solution to stop online piracy by protesting in Valluvar Kottam; we will have to sit along with software giants to find a practical solution or find money making avenues with the help of technological advancement. Balaji Mohan has done web-series while other directors have been selling their films to online portals.
